Corporate Development
VCC is a recognized global leader in the design and manufacture of illuminated electronic components and Human-Machine Interface (HMI) solutions, established in 1976. Our corporate development strategy is focused on synergistic acquisitions that enhance our core competencies and expand our reach into new, demanding electronic component markets. This disciplined approach ensures we continue to offer the broadest and most innovative product lines, from advanced LED indicators and light pipes to complete PCB assemblies.
Partner With Us
At VCC, we are actively seeking to partner with profitable North American electronic component manufacturers generating $3 to $20 million in annual revenue.
Our four decades of expertise in visual communication systems (including illuminated components, switches, and integrated assemblies) forms the foundation of our HMI leadership. While we are searching for partners that operate in the HMI component space, we are equally interested in adjacent categories such as connectors, electromechanical components, sensors, and other specialty electronic parts, especially those serving aerospace, defense, industrial, and medical markets. We believe that integrating manufacturers of closely related technologies, such as specialty switches, complex cable assemblies, or robust passive electronic components, allows us to deliver increasingly comprehensive solutions to our global OEM customer base.

What We Look For
-
Electronic component manufacturers with a proven niche
We prioritize companies whose proprietary technology or highly engineered products, such as sealed or high-voltage components, address complex application challenges, similar to our successful integrations of product lines like Wilbrecht LEDCO. -
Focus on HMI, connectors, electromechanical, or related product lines
This includes passive components, such as custom-designed switches and specialty circuit protection devices, that complement and integrate with our core HMI solutions. -
End markets in aerospace, defense, medical, or industrial
Our proven history serving these mission-critical sectors means we understand the stringent quality, certification, and traceability requirements essential for success in these fields. -
$3M to $20M annual revenue
We partner with growing businesses that are ready to scale and leverage VCC’s operational and distribution network for their next stage of growth. -
Profitable and well-run
We seek businesses with a history of strong EBITDA margins and established management that is committed to a successful transition. -
Based in North America
A North American base is crucial for maintaining our nearshore manufacturing advantage and responsive supply chain operations between our U.S. headquarters and our Tijuana, Mexico facility.
