Visual Communications Company (VCC), a global leader in illuminated components is rolling out two new LED Lamps for its distribution channels. The T-2 and T-1 3/4 Miniature LED replacement lamps were added to VCC’s portfolio during its acquisition of Display Products, Inc. (DPP) in Q3 of 2017. Designed to be simple replacements for outdated incandescent bulbs — especially for mission-critical applications — the T-2 and T-1 3/4 Miniature LED lamps offer the following noteworthy benefits for manufacturers and designers:
- Fit directly into standard incandescent sockets
- Operate at significantly lower temperatures
- Utilize up to 90 percent less energy than incandescent lamps
- Last up to 100,000 hours, or 10 years
- Deliver improved and reliable indication

- Allow for fast and easy installation

The bi-pin versions of both the T-2 and the T-1 3/4 Sub-Miniature LEDs will be available through VCC’s distribution channels in November 2018, with additional models rolling out soon after.

The T-1 3/4 sub-mini LEDs are ideal for replacing incandescents in applications including warning indication, instrumentation, signal indicators, as well as many other mission-critical applications. These lamps are available in six single colors: red, amber, green, orange, blue and white as well as one bi-color red/green.
For additional flexibility and convenience, the T-1 3/4 sub-minis are also available in a range of base options, including bi-pin, bayonet, flange, groove, screw and wedge.
