Interconnectors
VCC’s comprehensive line of panel mount assemblies are solderless LED interconnectors that provides a simplified method of connecting panel mounted LEDs to a power source.
Alternative connecting methods require the soldering or crimping of wires directly to the fragile LED leads, often resulting in their being damaged or broken. VCC interconnectors support the LED leads by providing the stability necessary to eliminate the broken or damaged lead problem. In addition, panel LED push back problems are resolved, resulting in a more secure assembly. Data from vibration tests conducted under actual operating conditions indicated continual stability of the VCC assemblies when subjected to forces of 2Gs, 4Gs and 6Gs from 0 to 2000 Hz.
VCC panel mounting assemblies require no tools for assembly while providing simple, fast press-fit or threaded connections to a broad selection of VCC panel lenses. The interconnector provides various methods of LED connection to power source circuitry, further simplifying assembly procedures. Each style of interconnectors are offered in standard lengths and are offered with a header connector. Terminations are also available with stripped wire leads for terminal attachment or soldering directly to the circuit board.
